Governor’s Fund
Our Governor’s Fund supports projects to promote the ideals of the Mayflower Society. Below is a form which allows you to donate to any or all of these three funds.
ISMD provides philanthropic support to promote the memory of our Pilgrim ancestors by:
– An annual scholarship to a member(s) of our society
– Providing an interesting and informative program speaker at our bi-annual luncheons
– Supporting historical education among school-aged children
– Attending/participating in genealogy fairs and seminars to educate and recruit new members
These activities are funded in part by a small fraction of dues, but mostly due to the generosity of our members through their donations.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to one of our funds that support these activities.
The Mayflower Compact Fellowship
The Mayflower Compact Fellowship recognizes individuals who give at least $250 or have that amount or more made in their name to the Governor’s Fund. Established this past year, The Mayflower Compact Fellowship exists to help the society continue to support our mission and can be used for any activity of our Society.
Your tax-deductible gift will include a printed certificate, a commemorative pin, and recognition on our website as a Fellow. Being a Mayflower Compact Fellow will be active during the fiscal year from which the original gift was made.
Scholarship Fund
The board has established the Scholarship Fund as an endowment to ensure its continued success!
Our Scholarship Fund annually awards tuition support based on merit to a qualifying Mayflower descendant. Our society has awarded over $55,000 in scholarships to deserving students since our scholarship program began in 1995. Scroll down to donate. Information about the Indiana Mayflower Scholarship program is available here.
