Pilgrim in the Schools
Pilgrim in the Schools is a program for schools and organizations featuring Kevin Stonerock who portrays Pilgrim Stephen Hopkins. The Indiana Society of Mayflower Descendants offers a limited number of grants each year to Indiana schools in order to partially fund this program.

2026 Scholarships
Lili Marie Cash
Daughter of Jonathan and Amanda Cash and granddaughter of Linda McGlothlin.
She will attend Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, to study pre-physician assistant studies, with the goal of earning a master’s degree and becoming a physician assistant. Lily values collaboration, patient-centered care, and adaptability, and hopes to work in a setting where she can educate patients about their health and promote preventive care.
Dawson Leyes
Dawson Leyes is the son of David and Krista Leyes and the grandson of Rebecca McKown
After completing his associate degree at Ivy Tech, Dawson will continue his education at Ball State University, where he plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in building construction management.
Through his academic and professional experiences, Dawson aims to build the technical expertise and leadership skills needed to make a lasting, positive impact on the communities he serves.
